This year Balsham bowls Club celebrates its 80th anniversary. We will be doing a few events over the season so please keep up to date on our news and events pages.

This year the pairs day will take place on Sunday 20th September 2026. we extend our invitation to all to play in our pairs open day. Start time 10am please arrive at 9.30am. The pairs entre fee is £30 per team which includes lunch. Cash Prizes for Winners and Runners ups. Bar and soft drinks available. Lunch for spectators £8 Teas will be available at small cost. please contact Phil Elliott 07709660902

13th October 2026, 7pm. All members welcome to attend the AGM at the pavilion Balsham.

This years new season Social Bingo night will take place on 11th December 2026 at 7pm. (Doors will open) The pavilion, Blasham Recreation Ground. Tickets are £7 each which includes your supper. Bingo tickets available to purchase on the night. Buy your tickets from Judy Clarkson 28 West Wickham Rd, Balsham 07932724324, or at the Post office or Balsham old Butchers Café. We hope you will support this fundraising event. We will have a bar and a raffle on the night.

This year we had 48 players entering our pairs day. Thank you to all those that took part. We were blessed with the weather after it looking like it might be called off at the start of the week. The day of course would not take place without at lot of help so thank you from the members that prepared the green to those that washed up.
